Kings X tried to Kill the Metal

Average: 2.3 (3 votes)

I recently upgraded my DSL connection to the 3072/640 option and after some help from Jeff I have my home network back up and running.  The other night I figured out how to get the port forwarding working from the DSL modem to my wireless AP/router to my destination machine and opened up some ports.

I've been trying to extend my music collection a bit as its currently sorta stale.  I had two Kings X albums,

but thought it would be nice to get some more of their music.

I've been listening to it pretty heavily for the last couple of days and really digging a lot of the material including most of  Gretchen Goes to Nebraska and  Out of the Silent Planet.

I also have been listening to the sound track  Tenacious D Pick of Destiny which I didn't care for much at first but repeated listening has won me over to quite a few of the tracks including, The Metal, POD, and Dude (I Totally Miss You).

BMG Megastar 2.0 in Ames

Last night friends Jeff and Cheri, Amy, and I went to the Blue Man Group "How to be Megastar 2.0" concert at Hilton in Ames.
